The team at SATA has made painting easier than ever with their newest line of full size spray guns, the 5000 B line. It is more versatile than ever, allowing a painter to work at various gun pressures and distances depending on their product. The ergonomics of the gun have been redesigned by the Porsche Design Studio to make it easier to handle than ever. The digital version, with it's built in pressure gauge, now features the same size handle as the non digital version. The guns now feature an easy to clean pearlchrome finish.
There are a few choices when purchasing a SATA 5000. These guns are available as either the RP or HVLP. The RP, denoted by the blue cap, works at a higher pressure for fine atomization and less air consumption. The HVLP version, noted by the green cap, works at a lower pressure, but requires a higher volume of air. It lower pressure level makes it easier to control metallic finishes. In the automotive refinish world, the RP model is more popular for clear coats, and the HVLP is more popular for basecoats. They are available in the following nozzle sizes: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0, and 2.5. For automotive refinish applications, 1.3 and 1.4 are by far the most popular.
These guns are also available with or without a digital pressure gauge built into the handle. They also feature a quick change cup which works with their metal cups, or the disposable RPS cups system where no adapter is needed.
SATA does not allow their products to be sold online, but you can call or email for the most competitive price around.
